Playgroup Committee
The Committee is made up of parents who volunteer their time to keep Playgroup running smoothly. Meetings are held at Playgroup on the first Tuesday of the month. New Committee members are always welcome!

Woodend Playgroup relies on volunteers to keep this amazing organisation running, so if you can spare a few hours a month, we'd love to hear from you! Members who sign onto the committee will get half price fees (refunded at the end of the year) — as a thank you for all their work. So join us today!

Meet the 2023Â Committee
Bree – Secretary
Bree is responsible for managing Playgroup documents and records, setting meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes and ensuring action plans and reminders are delivered.
Tess – Enrolments
Tess responds to any membership enquiries, assigns new members to sessions, conducts tours for new parents groups, and chases members for forms and fees.
Lou – Treasurer
Lou monitors all spending, reconciles membership enrolments and fees, and makes sure that Playgroup is in a good financial position.
Felicity – Events
Felicity organises events including Bush Playgroup, social events for parents, and seasonal activities such as our fabulous Christmas Party.
Julia – Marketing
Julia manages this website and promotes Playgroup to our community, via social media, posters, local media and other marketing channels.

Louise – Maintenance
Louise organises (in liaison with Macedon Ranges Shire Council) repairs at Playgroup and manages working bees. If you notice a repair job while attending Playgroup please let us know via woodendplaygroup@gmail.com

Eliza – Fundraising
Eliza organises fundraisers such as cake stalls, sausage sizzles and other major fundraising events.
Vacant – Craft activities
This role is responsible for planning and delivering themed craft activities for the kids to complete while attending their sessions at Playgroup.
Vacant – President
The president is the glue holding us all together! They are responsible for keeping track of all the goings on at Playgroup.

A great role for someone who loves organisation and making sure things are done right! An essential role to make sure we are OH&S and child safe compliant.
